Hello

Hello, my name is Anthony.  I'm a student at the College of Southeren Nevada. One of the classes I'm currently in is astronomy.  I've been interested in astronomy for a lonng time but finially decided to take a class on the subject.  I starting this blog to share some interesting things about astronomy that I learn.  If you have any questions or anything to share please leave me comments.

    I once visited the observatory in Flagstaff. It was very interesting. I think there is an observatory in the LA area but I'm not sure, and if there is I don't know if they allow visitors. Can you advise about this?

      There is an observatory in LA. It's the Griffith Observatory. Named after Griffith J. Griffith (his parents weren't very good with names) who donated the land and $100,000 to help build the observatory. They do allow vistors and admission is free.

    Hey there Anthony, I'm currently taking AST 104 at CSN this semester. I'm finding it fascinating to learn in depth about what goes on out there is space! I can't wait to hear some interesting facts about astronomy that you post on your blog. :)

    Now I wish I kept my telescope. Keep us posted on the various sightings coming our way. It is amazing how close various asteroids pass by earth each year without a strike.
